Kelly Schoonover, MS, LCMHC, MLADC
Executive Director
Kelly Schoonover serves as the Executive Director at Paugus Bay Behavioral Health, bringing her extensive experience and dedication to operational leadership. In her role, Kelly implements policies and programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality care within the organization.
Among Kelly's proudest accomplishments are earning her master's degree from the University at Albany, SUNY, and achieving dual licensure in New Hampshire as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Master Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC).
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys hitting the gym, attending live music events, spending time with loved ones, and exploring the outdoors with her dog.

Morgan Turgeon, MS, LCMHC, MLADC
Clinical Director
Morgan Turgeon serves as the Clinical Director at Paugus Bay Behavioral Health. In this role, she oversees clinical functions, provides group therapy and counseling services, and focuses on quality assessment and staff development. Morgan finds the greatest joy in her work through the connections she builds with her team members.
Inspired by a passion to help and inspire others, Morgan has dedicated herself to the field of behavioral health. She is particularly proud of pursuing her PhD and achieving dual licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Master Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC).
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys four-wheeling, spending time with family, and baking.

Chauntelle Carty, PMHNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Chauntelle Carty is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree from Rivier University. Her background includes working with individuals of all ages and in diverse settings, including Hospice and Substance Use Disorder treatment.
Chauntelle takes an integrative approach, combining therapy with medication management to help individuals navigate a wide range of mental health challenges. Guided by the belief that "if you can heal the mind, the body will be healed," she is passionate about helping people move beyond their past to create more fulfilling futures.
Outside of her professional work, Chauntelle is a proud mother and grandmother, enjoying life on her family’s small horse farm.

David Belanger, MA, MLADC
Therapist
David Belanger is a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) with a strong background in counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical leadership. He holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and previously served as Clinical Director at Granite Recovery House.
David has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and experience working in correctional and legal settings. He finds the greatest fulfillment in watching clients make meaningful progress in their lives.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading, music, hiking, science and technology, video games, concerts, and live sports.

Antonia McKerley
Therapist
Antonia McKerley is a therapist with experience providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment in both outpatient and incarcerated settings. She has worked in this field since 2020 and is committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.
Antonia’s professional background reflects a strong dedication to helping others during difficult periods in their lives. One of her proudest accomplishments is graduating from college while working full time in the mental health field during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating resilience, perseverance, and commitment to her profession.
Outside of work, Antonia enjoys reading, painting, and cooking, finding creative outlets that help her recharge and maintain balance.

Senior Development & Community Relations Specialist
Wendy Hanley serves as the Senior Development and Community Relations Specialist at Paugus Bay Behavioral Health. In this role, she focuses on educating others about the services Paugus Bay offers and the life-changing impact they can have on individuals in need.
Wendy’s passion for this field is deeply personal, stemming from her own family’s struggles with addiction. She finds the greatest fulfillment in helping people understand the resources available to them and the difference that quality care can make in their lives.
Outside of work, Wendy and her husband enjoy an active lifestyle, including CrossFit, hiking, and spending time at their place in Maine.

Admissions Specialist & Administrative Assistant
Emily Chase is an Admissions Specialist and Administrative Assistant at Paugus Bay Behavioral Health, conducting intakes for prospective and new clients while overseeing the daily operations of Sober Living.
A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emily is deeply motivated by the opportunity to be part of a recovery support system, finding the greatest fulfillment in witnessing clients grow and thrive.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys music, hiking, and watching thriller and horror movies.

Samantha Merrifield
Certified Recovery Support Worker & Sober Living Coordinator
Samantha Merrifield serves as our Certified Recovery Support Worker and Sober Living Coordinator. She combines professional expertise with personal experience in substance use disorder and mental health, shaping her compassionate, client-centered approach to recovery support.
With a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face, she is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment that empowers clients to build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.
Outside of her professional role, Samantha values time with her family and loved ones and enjoys spending time in nature.

Brandi Robie
Peer Support Specialist
Brandi Robie is a dedicated Peer Support Specialist with three years of experience in the behavioral health field. Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Brandi brings empathy, authenticity, and hope to the individuals she serves.
After spending seven years in active addiction and now celebrating four years in recovery, Brandi was inspired to pursue a career in peer support to help others find their path to healing. Her personal journey, along with growing up with family members affected by addiction, fuels her passion to be a voice of encouragement and compassion. Brandi is deeply committed to showing others that recovery is possible and that no one has to walk the journey alone.
Outside of work, Brandi enjoys spending quality time with her children, reading, taking long car rides to explore new places, and creating diamond art.
